The Friends of Historic Centreville invite you to Centreville Day on Saturday, October 20, in Historic Centreville Park on Mt. Gilead Road. The celebration begins at 10:00 am with the Opening Ceremony. More adventure awaits when you march the American Legion Parade at 11:00; enter your pet in the Rotary Pet Pageant at 2:00; and dance and sing along with talented performers on the Main Stage. Discover Mount Gilead, the Old Stone Church and St Johns Church and all the fun living history activities for children and adults, including a ride on the History Train. Kids can wear their costumes to trick or treat in the Marketplace while the adults shop. Meet awesome first responders and their equipment, get lots of useful safety tips at the expanded Safety Expo. Stop and sample some of the diverse flavors at the Food Court. Free parking and shuttle buses available at Trinity Centre. Family friendly and free admission. More details about the event can be found online by “following Mrs. Spindle” at www.CentrevilleDay.org. Centreville Day is made possible through the generosity of many sponsors, including Korean Central Presbyterian Church, Centreville Baptist Church, Apple Federal Credit Union, NOVEC, and Sandy Spring Bank
